Association of Classical Universities of Russia
The Association of Classical Universities of Russia (ACUR) was established by a decision of 24 Russian universities (the Constituent Congress was held on the 25th of June, 2001), as a non-profit organization consolidating classical universities of Russia on a voluntary basis.
Since its creation, 23 more universities, meeting the criteria for a classical university, have been admitted as members of ACUR.
